Brand Partnerships Associate, Energy Central

Energy Central, a media company that empowers, engages, and educates utility and power professionals, is growing our team with the addition of a Brand Partnerships Associate.

In this role, you’ll build partnerships with utility industry brands and our creators — driving new relationships, developing campaigns, and making sure the right brands connect with the right voices.

If you’re energized by sales but see it more as relationship-building and storytelling, this role is for you.

What you'll do:

  • Build and grow relationships with utlity industry brands

  • Create proposals and media plans that meet the brand’s goals

  • Lead the full sales cycle: outreach, pitching, negotiating, closing, and ongoing support

  • Stay on top of what’s working in B2B marketing, advocate for strength of our Energy Central audience in every deal, and act as a strategic thought partner to brands looking to break through in smart, effective ways

What we're looking for:

  • You’re a self-starter and are prepared to thrive on a small team

  • Interest in or experience in a client-facing role

  • Someone who enjoys building relationships and closing deals

  • Experience in media, marketing, or the energy industry is a plus (but not required)

  • Must be NYC-based (in office Mon-Thurs)
