Smooth Media is looking for a newsletter writer to support our team. Our mission at Smooth is to help creators operate and scale their businesses, and a key pillar of that is ideating, launching and publishing newsletters.

In this freelance position, you’ll be a part of our editorial team and be responsible for writing one or several newsletters we operate.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with the editorial team to pitch and write each newsletter
• Provide original research, thoughtful analysis, and creative initiatives
• Attend regular meetings with the newsletter’s broader team

What we're looking for:

• You’re a self-starter and are prepared to thrive on a small team
• You're curious, a quick learner and a strong communicator
• Interest in or experience in a client-facing role
• Experience in digital media a plus but not required
